The night was very quiet at the Cabo da Roca. There was little Wind. The lights that came from the lighthouse flashed over the landscape. Society, we only had two mobile homes from France. The mobile guard had allowed us to stay here. In the morning we went back before the hype went off again after Colares Sintra. In Sintra verekhrsmäßig much was going on. We turned north. Along the coast we went to Peniche. In Portugal, in recent years changed very much. Noticed we are also the many new developments - many are offered for sale. Sometimes the houses are not inhabited, but again see something come down. Of course, there had been much rain this winter and a lot of storm - but still.

When I last night in the motorhome to the Atlantic looked, I was the star-lit sky and admire some fishing boats. The transition from sea to sky was not apparent. Today we had again a piece of jewelry on our list of visits. Obidos was soon reached. When we arrived before the "gate" of the city, was on a large poster to be heard, just that the "VIII International Festival of Chocolate" in Rothenburg Portugal takes place. Many schools were in the morning on the road.
The original Moorish wall (13 m) has a floor plan of an acute-angled triangle. We walked to the entrance of the Pousada on the historic wall and enjoyed wonderful views. The streets, the neat white houses with blue or yellow remote door and window frames and corners , flowers in small gardens, a tile decorated gate, the pillory of the 15th Century and the Igreja Santa Maria of 1737 invited to a walk.

Every now and then we plunged into one of the many small shops to buy chocolate and taste. A land of plenty for our sweet tooth.

The next stage takes about Batalha and Fatima to Tomar.

up soon
